Dementors Descend: Wizarding World Shuts Down

Dementors have descended!
The Wizarding World has shutdown!
Conjure your Patronus!
Hold ground!
Fight with faith! Fight with wisdom!

As Universal Orlando announced closure of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the fiery breath of the dragon on top of Gringotts Bank was switched off, and Hogwarts went very empty, the hearts of Potterheads sank all around the world. The Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic will be recalled as the death wave of 2020 that shut down the most happiest places in the world and as global quarantine was imposed, every place became a ghost town. In my mind, I pictured the Dementors descending upon Hogwarts grounds, the flowers and plants dying, and gloom spreading.
Ideally, an almost empty park is good news! The no lines, no wait times comes as music to my ears. But this ... is shattering. I would give anything to have this place be packed with healthy, happy, laughing people again. Amen to that prayer.
The Wizarding World is my place ... my happy place. And seeing it become a ghost town breaks my heart. Being there, watching videos of people who are there, following its happenings is what makes my life happy. Having no videos, blogs, and social media feeds coming from there is depressing.
I am fortunate (I'd rather day damn lucky!) that I visited Hogwarts at the right time. I was there in the last week of December, celebrated the New Year's eve, and made it back home on January 3rd. The Covid-19 news had just broken out but nobody had taken it too seriously. With the current lockdowns, it feels like 2020 has been spoken for. The Dementors will not leave Hogwarts grounds for a long time.
We need to keep the light lit within ourselves to sail through troubled waters. There's gloom hanging all around. While the Wizarding World is on a break, I am indulging in reading Harry Potter books, watching videos shared on the Orlando Community by Orlando Informer Group on Facebook, and talking to fellow Potterheads on Instagram. That's how we keep the spirit alive!
