Black Bean BBQ Veggie Patty Burger
INGREDIENTS
- Italian bread roll
- Sliced onion
- Fine chopped cucumber [remove seeded part]
- Black bean veggie patty [Morning Star]: cooked in the microwave
- Tomato puree
- Italian seasoning
- Salt
- Vegetable oil
- BBQ sauce [Sugar free]
- Tomato basil vinaigarette salad dressing [Sugar free]
BURGER UP!
- Caramelize the onions. That means you fry them with a tablespoon of vegetable oil and 2 tablespoons of tomato puree until you see black residue sticking to the pan.
- Toss the cucumbers with tomato basil vinaigarette.
- Cook the black bean patty, chop it up in slices and toss it with BBQ sauce.
- Toast the Italian bread roll.
- Lay a first layer of caramelized onions, top with cucumbers, and finish with the BBQ patty bits.
- Serve with a crispy side of Town House Italian Cheese and Herb Tortillas.
