Turmeric Milk



Turmeric milk is very effective for sore throat, inflammatory conditions like fibromyalgia, arthritis, and to boost antiseptic mechanisms within the body. Avoid adding sugar because honey is natural and does not kill the effect of turmeric.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Milk, 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp
  • Cardamom powder, a generous pinch
  • Black pepper, a generous pinch
  • Cinnamon powder, a pinch
  • Honey, 1 tbsp
COOKING:

  • Set to boil milk in a small cooking pot.
  • Add turmeric powder, cardamom powder, and black pepper when milk begins to simmer.
  • Boil for a good minute then pour into serving glass.
  • Add cinnamon and honey and mix well.
  • Drink hot.
