"Soundless" for Runes in June

Muting a Shadowhunter's tread,

Hushing each leap, each graceful fall.

Muffling, the roar of fury,

Silencing agony's painful call.

Hollow, so like an empty vessel,

Gleaming, so like silence gold,

Carved in quiet, without a hassle,

The 'Soundless' rune - behold!

Better in Black, a Facebook group of the blog Shadowhunters Better in Black, has been hosting a rune poetry writing contest called Runes in June. Each week, a pair of runes is posted and participants have to submit a piece of poetry. Soundless was my first submission and it made me win a prize - a TMI rune decal I believe. It is on its way to my place. Participants are from the Facebook group and separately from Instagram. I am super excited to be getting the rune in the mail.
