DePhoMo'12 Day15 Butterbeer

Butterbeer, another genius invention from J.K. Rowling's masterpiece of a mind, is a drink all Harry Potter fans die for. It is served as chilled or frosted at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in the Islands Of Adventure at Universal Orlando, Florida. I would side with the frosted version because its texture is thick and creamy and it tastes like magic.
No one's been able to crack the code of the ingredients that stir up this elixir. Beverage geniuses; however, have decoded the key ingredients to be cream soda and butterscotch. Mix cream and crushed ice and you get the frosted version. It is served for a petty $2 something, $5 for frosted, in plastic cups imprinted with The Wizarding World's name text. It's great for a souvenir if you fancy them. For $11 though, you get the drink in a hard plastic Butterbeer stein that is the most popular souvenir.
You cannot miss this, it's better than coffee. There! This comes from a coffee crazy expressionist who lives for good coffee.
While we were there, my sister and I sipped this bliss 3 times! The first was in the souvenir stein, the second was in the plastic cups (one for each one of us), and the third was a farewell drink that we sipped with tears in our eyes as we left The Wizarding World and its magic behind.
It is customary for all Potterheads to make a mustache of the froth on the Butterbeer when they take their first sip. Ah! My sister did that and she was one proud Potterhead.
As for me ...
I'm a LOTR/Hobbit fanatic ...
We drink ales and smoke pipeweed!

“Oh you can search far and wide,
You can drink the whole town dry,
But you’ll never find a beer so brown,

Oh you’ll never find a beer so brown,

As the one we drink in our hometown,
As the one we drink in our hometown.
You can drink your fancy ales,
You can drink them by the flagon,
But the only brew for the brave and true…
..Comes from the Green Dragon!”
