This gentleman was the doorkeeper, bellboy, or the usher to the Russian Tea Room. His wardrobe reminded me of the British guard's uniform, I wonder if Russians dress this way too. NYC is packed with cozy coffeehouses and tea parlors, this was one of them. I haven't had the chance to sip at any of them as yet, but during my sightseeing I did take a photograph of this.
