Jon Bon Jovi's It's My Life" is the anthem of my life --- the mantra that I rock on --- and it's been a while since I remind myself of it again. Recently, there have been elements that have been trying to bring my self-worth flag down because they have their own narcissistic anthem blaring around them 24/7. It is not new that your life's choices will be questioned, criticized, and ridiculed. You will be compared and contrasted to people around you, and then dragged down into the dumps based on self-satisfying benchmarks, alright?

You don't have to follow others' benchmarks, or listen to the un-ending praise of world-made standards of perfection. They sound perfectly perfect and they get to you because you begin to think along the lines "They are doing it, why not me?" --- but everybody's path is unique to their abilities and everyone is built for something different. 

This is for the ones who stood their ground
