Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour Treats

Florean Fortescue's Ice-cream Parlour has to be the most flavorful place in Diagon Alley. Sara and I lost count of the times we visited and bought ice-cream. We tried all flavors except two, I believe. The exterior of the parlour announces great happiness inside!

The entire building announces "ice-cream, ice-cream, ice-cream!" and we were two hungry people! Each time we lined up outside the fast-moving queue that stretched out all the way to the neighboring Butterbeer shop, we couldn't wait to feast on a yet new flavor!

These servers were super fast I must say. Each time we waited for twenty to thirty minutes before we were attended, and they must have sold tens of ice-creams by then. The wait is more enjoyable when the queue moves into the shop because there are cute displays to photograph.

I mean, look at this ice-cream scoops tower by the window!

These two heads keep bobbing in and out! They're slightly creepy but they announce the joy of ice-cream, so I am not complaining.

The backdrop of the parlour is a display of its ice-cream toppings and souvenir glasses that we totally collected! We tried their Shortbread Crumbles, Chopped Nuts, and Chocolate Chips toppings.

While we stood in the super long queue [extending all the way to the outside of the parlour], we read the menu. The soft serves we totally planned to skip because we wanted to try the specialty Hard Pack Ice-cream flavors.

Salted Caramel Blondie has to be the ultimate BEST flavor at Florean Fortescue's!!! I am going to recommend that no sane human being should come out of there without having the Salted Caramel Blondie. Sticky Toffee Pudding has to be the second best! Strawberry and Peanut Butter follows! We also tried the Chocolate Chili which is such a surprise because there is the rich, typical chocolate that you are eating, and then you feel the chili on your palette! Another chocolate flavor is Chocolate & Raspberry. Apple Crumble is another favorite! We didn't try Clotted Cream and Earl Grey & Lavender - but there is always next time! We also didn't get Butterbeer flavor because we were busy chugging down mug after mug of Butterbeer as is.

Their waffle cones are no less than a decor. We were busy collecting souvenir glasses each time we ate so we did not get any waffle cones. Sara asked the server for a complimentary cone holder though - the pink outer covers, for the scrapbook! The server was so sweet to give it to her.

This chirpy, cheerful young lady sneaked into our photograph. This is one photo bomb that I adore!

Meet "Edward"! He's making our ice-cream treat for us.

That's the beautiful souvenir glass that comes with two mighty scoops.

We were two fanatics who would have bought two scoops, glass or not, and two separate scoops in a cup or waffle cone are more expensive than the souvenir glass! So we chose the souvenir for less and got so much more!
