Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost

Robert Lee Frost has got to be my favorite poet. I'm also drawn towards Shelley, but Frost's poetry is simple, beautiful, and perfect for the lone wanderer. The fellow has 4 Pulitzer prizes in poetry. Here is a favorite from my school days. I read it, probably, somewhere around middle school. I didn't know it would come back to me so perfectly suited. It always does feel like I have miles to go before I sleep.

"The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."
