I've Got Soul Searching To Do

I need to "make" time, as my high-school English teacher said; "Time is to be made, not gotten," to do some serious soul searching. It isn't easy because it requires courage greater than the Gladiators who fought in the Colosseum. It is easy to face tangible perils of the likes of beasts and men with superhuman strength, but it is a task of outstanding guts of steel to face one's own self.
"Who are you?"
"Why do you exist? With what purpose?"
"What do you believe in?"
"What are your values?"
"What is your goal?"
"What are your actions now and what they should be?"
"What are your weaknesses and what makes you strong?"
"What are you hiding from? Can you address that bravely?"
"Can you tell the world about yourself? Like an open book?"
"Are you ready to come out in the open and face the music?" (not literally!)
"Can you dance at life's grand masquerade without a mask? Because you're unique?"
Those are some pretty tough questions but when you find positive answers to those, you end up finding your self and your soul.
